Overcoming Mom Guilt

Moms are really good at thinking of all the things they could, should, or would have done.
If they had only known.

Welcome to motherhood. It’s one of the things they don’t tell you:
Mom guilt will come for you.

The Mom guilt has got to go. We hold on to it with an intensity and length of time that far, far exceeds its usefulness. Besides making us feel bad,
it can burden our relationship with our young adult children.

Holding on to the Mom guilt does not help anyone. Stop it.
Karen tells you how.

Their Happiness Is Not Your Responsibility

We prepare our children for happiness and success. As Moms, you suffer intensely when it doesn’t come to them. When they are making poor choices, we parents wonder what we did wrong. Being a Mom is so very hard sometimes!

This broadcast by Curtis has been a popular one. It’s a message that Moms need to hear and remember.

Giving Yourself Permission

We can be holding ourselves back sometimes. It’s as if we are waiting for permission. To try.
To see what will happen. To feel the emotions. To ask the questions.

Giving yourself permission is a powerful skill to figure out what’s holding you back,
consider it carefully, and then move forward as you choose.

Karen shares this skill with you. So you can start making those changes that you’ve had in mind but haven’t tried - yet!

Expectations that Control You!

Some people tell us to release all expectations. They can reach out from the past and control us now. Expectations from our naive 20’s. From our family. From comparing ourselves to our friends. These things can suck the joy and motivation out of us without us even realizing it.

But we dearly need expectations. Because we need hope and to expect good things from our future.  Some anticipation.

Karen gives you clear mindsets that you can use NOW to create wisdom and positive energy.
