60 | Easter – Resurrection of You
Happy Easter, everyone! What a great season to be in. Let the party begin! This is your bonus Easter episode. We spend a lot of time and energy thinking about what’s gonna happen when we die. We don’t, really, as Christians, spend nearly enough time thinking about what’s going to happen when we’re resurrected. The gospel message directs us to this new kind of life that Jesus has opened up for us in his cross and resurrection. The question of “what’s gonna happen when I die” is, scripturally, turning the gospel on its head because what the gospel directs us to is “what’s going to happen when I am resurrected” (knowing Jesus was the first to do that).
